About This Blog

Posted on Oct 21st, 2007 by Mathew : birthing Mathew
My intention in creating this blog is threefold: One, to share personal stories, angelic guidance and general observations that reflect my passion to live The Life Intended; Two, to keep a record of my progress as I follow my inner voice; and Three, to inspire others to look within to find and achieve their own intended life. Your comments are most welcome!

What is The Life Intended?

The Life Intended is the life we live when our thoughts, words and actions are aligned with the greatest good.

Are you living it?

If you have ever had the pleasure of experiencing feelings of inner peace, joy and fulfillment, then you have been blessed with a glimpse of The Life Intended. When you are able to effortlessly sustain those feelings at all times, regardless of what is happening in your life (or in the world), you will know that you are living The Life Intended.

About God

Within this blog, I refer to God as He, His, or Father, however, this is not meant to suggest or imply that God is any more masculine than feminine; this is strictly a matter of linguistic convenience. Furthermore, my use of the word "God" is meant to convey the exact same meaning as (and may be freely interchanged with) words such as Goddess, Allah, Yahweh, Source, the All of All, Creator, Supreme Being, Mother Nature, Universe, Great Spirit, Divine Love or any other word (or words) one might use to respectfully acknowledge the omnipotent, omniscient, perfect , eternal and unconditionally loving Source of all that is, all that was, and all that shall ever be.

About Alignment

Alignment (also known as "being in the flow" or "going with the flow") occurs with greater ease and frequency the more we choose to make a regular practice of the following: Meditation; Prayer; Being positive; Doing unto others as we would have others do unto us; Following the feelings of our heart ahead of the logic of our mind (especially when they conflict); Forgiving everyone, including ourselves (and even those who caused us the greatest harm); Respecting all life; Being positive appreciative and grateful (a "glass half full" approach to life); Having faith -- not blind faith mind you, but faith in the perfection of God, and faith in ourselves as the one true authority that is ably equipped to make choices in alignment with the greatest good; And last but not least, being patient, patient, patient.

About Negativity

Although I hold that all roads lead to God, I have also become aware that each time we choose unhappiness, indifference or fear, we misalign ourselves with the loving Universe and the joy-filled magical life that is our birthright. We also project our negativity out into the world. Think about it: The energy of God is everywhere. It permetaes our bodies, and it permeates the very fabric of our planet (and beyond). Truly, we are all connected -- one planet, one people, one family, one future. I believe this is a very important concept to grasp because what this really means is that our thoughts, beliefs and actions are not isolated and independent; everything we think, say or do affects every-one and every-thing. Thus the expression: Change yourself and you change the world! (Or better yet, Heal yourself and you heal the world!)

About Discernment

In so far as truth is concerned, I believe that truth is relative, therefore, it is up to each and every one of us to decide for ourselves what is true. Just because someone claims to have a hold on the truth, it doesn't mean that if you disagree, they're right and you're wrong, nor does it guarantee (if they are an experienced channeler), that their source is impeccable, or that they themselves are free from influence from ego and/or lower forces; we are all human, after all. That said, although my intentions are sincere and the information I relate is complete, honest and accurate to the best of my abilities, I urge you all to listen with your heart, to keep an open mind, and in the process of that, to accept that which resonates for you, and discard the rest.
