About a year ago, a day didn't go by where I didn't inexplicably turn to see a digital clock at exactly 11:11 or 1:11. I found it mildly amusing at first, but when it happened too many times to count on August 22, 2005, I immediately went to my computer and Googled "1111" and I got lots of hits -- all sharing a similar theme -- although it was the first hit that resonated best for me -something to the effect that the angels use the 11:11 time prompts to let us know that we are loved, that we are on the right track and that we are not alone. Further to this, it was recommended that whenever we see a time prompt, an appropriate response would be to acknowledge the presence of the angels with a simple "thank you."
And so that's what I did - almost every day for the next year - lots and lots of thank you's until about a month ago, another overwhelming day of 11:11 occurred. Of course, by this time I was seeing 1111 and 111 on clocks, watches, receipts, addresses - everywhere! Anyway, back I went to my computer to Google 1111 for the second time in less than a year. And that's when I found a site I had missed a year earlier - a site that talked about the experiences of a man named George Mathieu Barnard and a group of spirit guardians he called Midwayers. He had written a few books on the subject. And he had a forum devoted to 11:11. His website contained a lot of information that I was unfamiliar with, and a lot that I was, but the interesting thing was, the more I read on the 1111angels message board the more I felt a whole lot of love for all the other people like me who had found the site because of 11:11. After a few hours of reading, I ordered George's first book - the reading of which I talk about in an earlier posting "The Search for 11:11" and Synchronicity. (10/11/06)

On July 11, 2006, my angels had this to say about 1111:
It is with great pleasure that we share with you the reason for the 1111 sightings that have been baffling you for several months now. The sightings are not so much to urge you to take action of any sort as much as they are for your enjoyment. They are reminders that we are all on the same spiritual path together and we all share a common objective to bring peace and understanding to the planet at this time. Many souls are working towards this common goal at this time, and many of them are participating as you have been in the sightings of the 1111. This is all you need to know at this time regarding this phenomenon.
On July 24, 2006, I wrote the following in my journal:
I was standing under a hot shower this morning when it suddenly occurred to me that 11:11 is a call to be my authentic self - that in spite of the often restricting and conforming pressures of family and society and the feelings I have had from time to time that tell me that something is terribly wrong with the world and that I don't belong, or that I am somehow different and alone and helpless to change the world, 11:11 occurrences not only affirm the opposite to be true, they also seem to be a wake-up call of sorts - a very special and personal call that crosses all cultural, religious and racial boundaries, encouraging me to take action, to lead by example, to forge an authentic path by willfully choosing to step off the culture train of fear. And while it seems to say all this to me, by its very nature it also tells me that we live in a benign universe, a universe where there are helpful, loving forces around us at all times - no matter who we are and where we live. And to this end, it is my belief that having an inherent sensitivity to 11:11 is not just about acknowledging and thanking the angels for watching over and guiding us, it's also about cultivating an attitude of responsibility for the state of the world, gently urging us all to step out from the crowd in the uniquely loving ways that we can.

Thank you so much for pointing me to your blog… I can definitely relate. I was born on 11/11 at 2:27 (in numerology is another 11)… The angel aspect resonates with me… I completely identify with Angel Gabriel. Hardly a day goes by that I don't see these numbers at one point.

Thanks for the comment Kris. That's neat about your birthday AND your time of birth being 11's. I was born on a 22 – another master number like the 11. I don't see the 11's so much anymore, but boy was I overwhelmed with them for a period of time. It was quite AMAZING when it kept happening, several times a day!

I went through a brief period several years ago with 1:11, I never did search it out but remained in wonder about it. I am currently stuck on another set, for about the last year.
Now I know something about it…thank you so much for bringing this out…

Just as a gee whiz - The year 2008 (2+0+0+8=10 - which reduces to a 1 in numerology) So wouldn't this make today 11.1.1

This is interesting. The first time I have heard about the 11:11 thing. For some time now I have been noticing my digital clock sometime during the 11th minute of the hour, any hour. I never thought to look this up online but have wondered about it. And until now I have never mentioned this to anyone.

I must admit, it's mind-bending stuff – especially the first time one considers that such a thing is possible. If it hadn't happened to me personally, I never would have believed it! I am truly a first-class skeptic – and yet, I have been left with no alternative but to accept the 11:11 thing as well as many other strange things because I have unequivocally experienced them first hand – and most of these “strange” things weren't even preconceived ideas I had. Things happened, I was compelled to follow up with some research, and low and behold, I found out I was not alone in so far as these experiences were concerned. As for 11:11 (and other numeric sequences too, I might add), it's truly a world-wide phenomenon!

for a dear friend of mine who was just telling me she was seeing these numbers over and over, she had lost her mother to cancer and felt so down for so long. She somehow knew those numbers were a positive lift for her. I can tell her it has been indeed.

I have read about many other people who lost loved ones, only to begin to see the 11:11 time prompts soon after. I am very sorry for your friend's loss – but pleased that in a small way, I can offer some validation that her 11:11 experiences are indeed signs of love from the unseen realms.

We were told that 11:11 and 12:12 are both gateways. So whenever I see one of them, I send out the highest vibration of intention I can at that moment!

Thank you for your comment. I wasn't aware of the 11:11 pod – I guess that's because I haven't been experiencing numeric prompts very much now since about a year ago – but when I was, wow was it ever incredible and absolutely undeniable!
I have read about gateways – thanks for mentioning that aspect. I think one of the most longstanding proponents of this wisdom is Solara. Personally speaking, I have yet to resonate with a lot of her material, though I must confess, I love the concept of gateways (stargates, energetic gateways, wormholes, etc.) and to this end, I have stopped on occasion upon seeing 11:11 and sent out my highest intentions too. Othertimes, I have also “made a wish” – which is yet another long standing practice that many have observed with respect to 11:11.
As for what you call the “rounded numbers”, I have not experienced them personally – but I know of many who have. Many people observe the prompt 6:06 which they believe to be a numeric symbol for planet earth (as revealed in the Urantia Book – a book I am not directly familiar with – only just acquainted through conversation with those who are.)

Another simple yet profound observation that many people have made about 11:11 and 1:11 – the repetition of 1’s is symbolic of “Oneness”. Given my own awakening to Oneness, this observation really resonates for me.
